Pardeh Khani
Narration with imagery (Pardeh Khani) in Iranian tradition at the Tidemanplein and in the library at the Visserijplein Delfshaven, Rotterdam, 25 June and 2 July 2011.
The actor Sahand Sahebdivani narrated two stories from the oriental and western cultures, following the Iranian tradition of Pardeh Khani. He accompanied himself on the frame drum (Daiyre).
The performances were organized by MECART Foundation in collaboration with Interact Theatre Company. Admission was free. Corien Hoek.
Women & Nature
MECART is preparing a cultural program on Women & Nature in cities in the Balkan in collaboration with artist Nena Sesic-Fisher and the female artists organisation CURE Foundation in Sarajevo. The project will take shape in 2008. Dineke Huizenga.
